Thundering Herd  Band

This season, the Thundering Herd performed "Chasing the Sun," finishing their season in 6th place in Area Finals out of 24 bands. 

Prior to the Area Marching Contest, the band performed in the Springtown, Aubrey, and Godley marching competitions, as well as performing every Friday night supporting the Zebra Football team.

This fall, students auditioned for placement into the All-State Jazz and All-State Concert bands. Grandview had a total of 7 students placed into Area, with 1 (as of now) who placed into the All-State band.

At the end of January, students will also compete in the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest, where they have the opportunity to advance and perform their solo or ensemble piece at the state level.
