Weekly Notes
Read below for this Friday's itinerary. During playoff games, we may still play songs during 3rd quarter if the team is behind or close. This week, we are the home team.
Attire for Game:
- For playoff games, we will wear traditional uniform tops.
- ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR A BLACK SHIRT UNDERNEATH THE TRADITIONAL UNIFORM TOP. This can be a black sweater, travel shirt, plain black t-shirt, etc. The only requirement is that only black may be visible once the uniform is on. If you have to ask, it probably doesn't meet the requirement.
- Black athletic shorts under bibs
- Tall black socks
- Black marching shoes
- Students are welcome to wear extra layers under their uniforms as the weather gets colder. The most important thing is that we are all still in uniform!
- Beanies, gloves, etc. are fine, as long as they are black.
Students Need:
- Flip folders
- Music for: Fight Song, School Song, Stand Tunes, National Anthem
- A clean instrument in good working condition! Tell a director if slides/valves are stuck!
Friday Itinerary:
2nd Period - Load trailer
3:10p - Dismissed from class, come to band hall
3:30p - Inspection in travel uniform
3:50p - Depart GV
4:20p - Arrive in Burleson for dinner
(Jersey Mike's, Jason's Deli, Five Guys)
5:30p - Leave restaurants
5:45p - Arrive at stadium, unload
6:30p - Warm up in stands
6:45p - School song, fight song
7:00p - Kickoff
Eventually - Game ends and we head home

Rides & Conflicts
It is very common for people to need help finding a ride. We have an awesome network of student leaders and nearby parents who would be willing to help you carpool. Take the initiative and ask other students or let a director know. There is bound to be somebody who can help!
