Congratulations on yet another year of straight 1's at UIL Region. On to the next round. This week will be very busy, and very unusual!

TUESDAY - EVENING REHEARSAL (6:30pm to 8:30pm)
Clinic with Mr. Royall and Mr. Oktay

FRIDAY, 23rd
NO EARLY MORNING REHEARSAL
NO FOOTBALL GAME
4pm to 6pm - Afternoon rehearsal
After practice - Load trailers
Go to sleep early!

SATURDAY, 24th - UIL Area Marching Contest (Revised):
Early check-in, early departure
Dress: FULL UNIFORM

You should always have your Travel Uniform (athletic shorts and travel shirt) on underneath your bibbers and performance top. We often do not have facilities at our games or contests that allow for an entire band to go change clothes.

While not performing - Students may wear plain black, gray, or white hats, and jackets, or something with a GV logo
- Students may wear sunglasses

Breakfast burritos provided
5:30a - Call time
5:40a - Inspection in Travel Uniform, uniform in hand
6:00a - Depart GV
7:30a - Arrive in Denton, unload
8:45a - Move to warm up
8:55a - Warm Up
10:00a - Perform
After performance - Half load trailers, electronics & WWs out of sun
11:00a - Depart for the mall!
11:45p - Mall time
Lunch at mall - per diem provided, bring extra $$ if desired
2:05p - On bus, roll call
2:15p - Leave mall
3:00p - Arrive back in Denton, watch bands
4:15p - Prelims results
Finals time TBA - We will not know until after prelim results
Pizza provided for dinner before or after finals run
We will load trailers if there is enough time before finals results
8:45p - Finals results
9:15p - Load if needed, depart
~10:45p - Arrive in GV
